Susan traced my great grandfather, a Danish immigrant, from his arrival in New York to his citizenship, his business success in Rochester, the death of his son during the Influenza Pandemic a century ago, and then more business success selling new-fangled cars and radios in the 1920s. His was an American success story tinged with the losses that every family experiences.
Susan took various documents, like the census, and turned it all into a meaningful tale about my great grandfather’s life. She does a very thorough job. I was amazed at everything she discovered.
